So two weeks ago joe and i decide to go camping with some friends. Well instead of just staying one night we decide to go backpacking to these three lakes joe tells me are 2.5 miles up. He also says " Its an easy hike". Well after we have been hiking for hours and i have a 40 pound pack on my back. Oh and by the way the hike is straight up and is covered on rocks. So instead of an easy hike it is listed as strenuous. All i could do at this point is just walk faster so we could set up camp, there was no turning back at this point. So we make it to the top and camped for the night. Well the next day we go for a hike to look for spanish mines that are supose to be up there and we acually found one. It was pretty cool. We looked for an old miners cabin that was suppose to be up there but we never found it.
After our hike we head down and as we are hiking down joe tells the truth. He says " This is a 10 mile hike and it is listed as strenuous on the website and that is without the pack". Well we made it down in one piece and we had a good time!

You go girl! Wow you ripped it up- Daph and I think you guys are really cool for doing such a fun trip! I personally think that Joe did a good job tricking you :-)
